According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa is furious with one of the club’s stars and is considering dropping him from his plans for the upcoming period.
The player in question is Eduardo Camavinga, who missed Friday’s match against Celta Vigo due to a toothache.
The report states that Arbeloa is disappointed by Camavinga’s refusal to play against Celta Vigo because of a toothache, especially since the team was suffering from a significant shortage of players and needed every available player, even if only for a few minutes.
After the Celta Vigo match, Arbeloa made brief comments criticizing Camavinga without naming him, saying, “I’m very happy with the players who wanted to come.”
Arbeloa is seriously considering dropping Camavinga from future matches, or at least including him in the squad but limiting his playing time.
Fortunately for Real Madrid, Camavinga’s absence paved the way for the emergence of the promising Thiago, whom Arbeloa is now inclined to rely on in the coming period.
It’s worth noting that Camavinga’s future at Real Madrid has been uncertain for some time. Spanish media outlets indicate that Florentino Pérez and the board are dissatisfied with the player’s performances over the past two seasons, and he may be sold next summer.
