Ancelotti announces the date of the return of Courtois and Militao

Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, announced to fans of the Royal Club the date of the return of duo Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao to participate with the team after a long absence due to injuries.

Hours before the start of this season, Courtois suffered a cruciate ligament tear, then Militao suffered the same injury a few days later in the match against Athletic Bilbao.

Although it was expected that the duo would not return before the end of this season, both of them succeeded in recovering early and gradually began to engage in training on the grass.

During the press conference for the match between Real Madrid and Valencia, Ancelotti announced that Courtois and Militao can participate with Real Madrid again after the match against Mallorca on April 14.

This means that the duo can participate in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals and the following rounds, in addition to being present in the crucial period of the season.

Perhaps Militao’s return in particular is currently the most important for Real Madrid, given David Alaba’s injury and the absence of only Nacho and Antonio Rudiger in the center of defence.

In general, Ancelotti confirmed that there is no intention to rush the duo’s return for fear of any setbacks that would lead to their absence again for a long period.
