Al-Ittihad’s miraculous comeback with four goals and ten men against Al-Khaleej

Al-Khaleej Stadium witnessed a match that can only be described as thrilling and entertaining, as Al-Khaleej hosted Al-Ittihad in the seventh round of the 2025-26 Saudi Professional League.

The first half saw Al-Khaleej dominate, scoring two goals in the first 18 minutes. Then, Fabinho received a straight red card in the 32nd minute after a violent tackle, which was reviewed by VAR.

Before the end of the first half, Al-Khaleej scored their third goal, and Joshua King added a fourth in the first minute of the second half, leading everyone to believe the match was over: 4-0 for the home side, with Al-Ittihad reduced to ten men and less than 40 minutes remaining.

In the 51st minute, Moussa Diaby scored Al-Ittihad’s first goal, and the score remained unchanged until the 85th minute when the French star scored his second, reviving Al-Ittihad’s hopes of a comeback.
