The draw for the semi-finals of the 2025-26 King’s Cup was held Sunday evening at the headquarters of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation in Riyadh.
Al-Kholoud was the first team to reach the semi-finals after defeating Al-Khaleej 4-3, followed by Al-Ahli, who triumphed over Al-Qadisiyah on penalties after a 3-3 draw in regulation and extra time.
Al-Hilal crushed Al-Fateh 4-1, and defending champions Al-Ittihad repeated this feat against Al-Shabab in the last of the quarter-final matches.
The semi-final draw was wide open, meaning any of the four teams could potentially face each other.
Ultimately, the draw was practically in Al-Ittihad’s favor.
Al-Ittihad will face Al-Kholoud at the latter’s home ground, a match that is undoubtedly easier for the Jeddah-based club than facing Al-Ahli or Al-Hilal, even though Al-Kholoud has been one of the pleasant surprises of this season in Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand, a highly anticipated derby match between Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal will take place at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (The Shining Jewel), reigniting the excitement of their league encounter, which ended in a 3-3 draw at the same venue.
The two semi-final matches of the Saudi King’s Cup are scheduled to be held between February 23 and 24, 2026, with the exact dates to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
