AC Milan has made formal contact with the representatives of Real Madrid forward Endrick to explore his potential availability during the current summer transfer window.
Several European clubs—including Aston Villa and Roma—have previously held advanced talks regarding a loan deal for the 20-year-old Brazilian. However, Real Madrid halted those negotiations and chose to retain him in their squad.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid informed Endrick’s camp that a summer departure is currently off the table. The club wants to evaluate his progress and grant him an opportunity to compete for minutes during the first half of the season.
Manager José Mourinho clearly informed Endrick that his starting chances would be limited given the stiff competition in attack, which includes Kylian Mbappé as the primary central striker and new signing Carlos Espí from Levante. Nevertheless, Mourinho sees the young Brazilian as a versatile asset capable of playing both as a center-forward and on the right wing—a role he previously fulfilled at Palmeiras and Lyon.
While Real Madrid has ruled out a summer departure, the Spanish giants remain open to a potential loan move in January if Endrick does not secure sufficient playing time. Any decision will be made jointly by the club and the player, with AC Milan keeping close tabs on the situation.
Following an impressive loan spell at Lyon—where he tallied 8 goals and 8 assists in 21 appearances—Real Madrid continues to view Endrick as an integral part of their long-term future.
