Antonio Nusa scored one of the most beautiful goals of the 2026 World Cup during Norway’s Round of 32 match against the Ivory Coast.
The RB Leipzig winger received the ball on the edge of the penalty box, drove inside, and unleashed a magnificent right-footed strike that beat goalkeeper Yahia Fofana in the 39th minute.
Beyond giving Norway the lead against the Ivory Coast, this goal carries a very special milestone for Nusa personally.
At just 21 years and 74 days old, Nusa has officially become the youngest player in Norway’s football history to score a goal at the World Cup.
The historic goal was assisted by Martin Ødegaard, who became only the third player in World Cup history to provide three assists in his first three tournament appearances, following Igor Belanov in 1986 and Michael Ballack in 2002.
Furthermore, Ødegaard is now the first player to register an assist in three consecutive World Cup matches since Dirk Kuyt did so with the Netherlands national team back in 2010.
