Success of the 2026 Expanded World Cup Sparks Future US Ambitions

The United States has drawn widespread praise for organizing an exceptional 2026 tournament so far. Despite initial doubts over visa logistics and stadium attendance, venues across the country have been packed with fans throughout the group stage.

As the football world looks ahead, the 2030 World Cup is set to be co-hosted by Spain, Morocco, and Portugal, followed by Saudi Arabia in 2034. FIFA is expected to officially open the bidding process for the 2038 edition in the coming months.

When questioned about the possibility of the tournament returning to American soil, Giuliani struck a confident tone:

“There is no better country than America that can host the World Cup.”

Giuliani Discusses 2038 World Cup Vision With President Trump

Giuliani further emphasized the nation’s unparalleled infrastructure, adding: “Even if the World Cup expands to a 64-team format, America is fully capable of hosting it. We could definitely submit a bid for the 2038 World Cup; I have already discussed this with President Trump and several cabinet members.”

He concluded: “Let’s finish this World Cup first and then see what happens. What is certain is that no country is better prepared than us. Our stadiums are ready, unlike other nations that have to spend tens of billions of dollars to build infrastructure.”
