Real Madrid have reached a full agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Marc Cucurella, wrapping up a historic summer window for the Spanish giants.
Following the re-election of Florentino Pérez as club president, Los Blancos have already secured three blockbuster signings—Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries, and Bernardo Silva—alongside the appointment of José Mourinho as manager.
The “Special One” was determined to recruit a new left-back due to a lack of confidence in Álvaro Carreras. While Mourinho initially preferred a defender who could also slot into central defense, the club’s pivot to Cucurella happened rapidly.
Cucurella to Real Madrid: Contract and Fee Details

-
Contract Length: A 6-year deal at the Santiago Bernabéu.
-
Player Approval: The Spanish left-back quickly accepted Real Madrid’s terms, and Chelsea did not stand in his way.
Transfer Battle: Much like the Bernardo Silva deal, Atlético Madrid had also submitted an official proposal for Cucurella. However, the player ultimately chose to join their bitter city rivals instead.
