Lille OSC executives realistically accept that keeping hold of Ayyoub Bouaddi is now a near-impossible task. Following his breakthrough performances for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, the French club has shifted its focus toward maximizing the financial return on their 18-year-old sensation.
Bouaddi enjoyed a spectacular international debut with the Atlas Lions, delivering a masterclass performance against Brazil at the MetLife Stadium, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
This stellar international display caps off an incredible breakout season with Lille, where he had already caught the eye of Europe’s elite clubs. Now, that transfer interest is expected to skyrocket as the World Cup concludes.

Real Madrid has also been heavily linked as a potential destination for Bouaddi, alongside several unnamed Premier League clubs. The Lille academy graduate has not yet indicated a preference for his next destination.
Stat Check: Despite his youth, Bouaddi was a mainstay for Lille last season, making 42 appearances across all competitions, contributing one assist.
