The Belgian star’s contract with City expires in the summer of 2028, and amidst his remarkable brilliance recently, interest from big clubs to secure his services has increased. According to recent reports, City offered Doku a contract renewal until the summer of 2031, which the player has initially approved.
At the same time, Doku will receive a massive salary increase that will make him one of the highest-paid players at the Etihad Stadium after Erling Haaland, whose contract still extends until the summer of 2034.
