According to Defensa Central, disagreements have already surfaced between Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid President Florentino Perez, even before the official start of the “Special One’s” second tenure.
While it is only a matter of time before Mourinho is announced as Alvaro Arbeloa’s successor on a two-year deal, reports indicate a clash over the coaching staff.
Mourinho is reportedly determined to have club legend Raul Gonzalez as his primary assistant. However, Perez has firmly rejected the idea.

The relationship between Raul and Perez has reportedly soured recently. Raul left his role with Real Madrid Castilla a year ago, reportedly disappointed after being overlooked for the first-team job in favor of Xabi Alonso.
Journalist Látigo Serrano commented on the situation: “Mourinho wants a former Real Madrid icon by his side. His top choice is Raul, but a return to the Bernabeu for him seems impossible right now.”
Despite this friction, insiders believe this dispute won’t derail Mourinho’s return, as both parties are fully committed to working together again at any cost.
