Mohamed Salah rediscovered his scoring touch, leading Liverpool to a crucial 2-0 victory over Fulham at Anfield in the 32nd round of the English Premier League.
Manager Arne Slott and his players had been under increasing pressure and criticism following a heavy defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals, followed by a lackluster performance and a loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The starting lineup against Fulham featured Rio Ngomoha and Mohamed Salah, who had been left out of the PSG match. Both players scored with well-placed, curling shots within the first four minutes of the first half.

Salah has now reached 11 goals this season across all competitions: six in the Premier League, three in the Champions League, and two in the FA Cup, in addition to nine assists.
Salah reached his 190th Premier League goal, along with 92 assists in 311 appearances across all competitions, and today’s goal was his 109th at Anfield.
With this win, Liverpool moved to 52 points in fifth place (a Champions League qualification spot for next season), four points ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea, who face Manchester City on Sunday.
