Casado had completely ruled out leaving Barça last summer, despite receiving lucrative offers from the top five European leagues as well as the Saudi league.

According to the report, the player now realizes that his chances of playing regularly for Barcelona in the coming period are complicated and uncertain, and he now prefers to be at a club that guarantees him significant playing time.

Casado has changed his agent to the renowned Portuguese Jorge Mendes, and this has quickly been reflected in his desire to leave and embark on a new experience, most likely outside of Spain.

From Barcelona’s perspective, Joan Laporta’s administration is not opposed to the departure of the 22-year-old, but only if they receive a substantial transfer fee that would help the Catalan club overcome its current financial difficulties.

Initially, Casado’s price tag is estimated at €20 million, but this value could decrease if Hansi Flick continues to sideline the player, especially if he isn’t playing in his preferred midfield position.

Casado was a key player for Barcelona last season, but things changed once Marc Bernal returned from injury. Bernal became Flick’s preferred choice in midfield, with the Spaniard relegated to playing at left-back when needed.

This season, Casado has played 1,276 minutes across 29 matches so far, starting 14 and coming on as a substitute in 15.
