Barcelona star Pedri revealed that Lamine Yamal has stopped playing a certain role in the Catalan club’s dressing room due to the holy month of Ramadan.
For the past two years, Yamal has been determined to fast during Ramadan, despite the large number of matches during that period, with the full support and blessing of the Barcelona management.
According to Pedri, Yamal usually played the role of “DJ” in the dressing room before matches, but he has relinquished this role during Ramadan.
Yamall prefers to use Ramadan for worship and drawing closer to God, distancing himself from various temptations, including listening to music during the fasting period, and remaining as quiet as possible.
Meanwhile, Pedri indicated that Dani Olmo and Jules Koundé are the most noisy players in the Barcelona dressing room.
Pedri emphasized that Hansi Flick has implemented a strict system that prohibits lateness to pre-match tactical briefings.
He added, “The fine for being 10 minutes late is 40,000 euros. If you are 20 minutes late, it is better for you to stay at home.”
