It’s only a matter of time before the Brazilian Football Confederation announces the renewal of Carlo Ancelotti’s contract until the 2030 World Cup. The new contract will make the Italian coach one of the highest-paid coaches in the history of football.
According to the newspaper AS, Ancelotti will receive €40 million annually with the Brazilian national team for the next four years.
Brazilian officials have great faith that Ancelotti will succeed in his mission and lead the Seleção to World Cup glory. Even if he fails in 2026, he will be given the necessary time until the 2030 World Cup to bring back the title, which has eluded them since 2002.
Ancelotti feels comfortable in Brazil and things are going well for him. He accepted this challenge, especially since he has no intention of returning to coach European clubs. He believes that coaching national teams is the most suitable path for him at the moment, in every respect.
It is worth noting that Ancelotti took over as Brazil’s coach last June, and since then has led the team in eight matches, achieving four wins, two draws, and two losses.
