Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has denied reports of a sex crime at his home after Ansu Fati’s brother accused a woman of sexually assaulting him.
According to ABC, a Dutch woman filed a complaint claiming she was the victim of a sexual assault at the home of Barcelona player Lamine Yamal.
Reports indicate the incident occurred on February 7th. The woman attended a party at a nightclub where Fati’s brother, known as “Fatiño,” was also present. The group then moved to a private residence in Barcelona, allegedly Yamal’s home.
The complainant stated that she woke up the following morning naked and was subjected to inappropriate touching. She also expressed her belief that she may have been in a state of “altered consciousness,” possibly due to the influence of banned substances, which made her vulnerable to the assault.
Yamal immediately moved to deny any involvement in the incident.
The law firm representing the Barcelona star sent a message to the Spanish media confirming what the Catalan police had also confirmed, that the incident was untrue, that Yamal had no connection to the alleged events, and that the incident did not take place on any of his properties.
