Juventus completes a “cheap” but risky deal!

Juventus bolstered their squad in the final hours of the winter transfer window by signing Jeremie Boga on loan from Nice.

Coach Luciano Spalletti wanted a backup winger for Kenan Yıldız, and the Bianconeri management opted for Boga despite the apparent risk involved.

Boga was one of the standout players in Serie A with Sassuolo, but his recent stints with Atalanta and Lille were quite underwhelming.

Ultimately, based on his track record, his willingness to play a substitute role, and the fact that he wouldn’t cost much, Boga will join Juventus on loan, with a non-mandatory purchase option next summer for just €5 million.

The 29-year-old made 20 appearances this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

It is noted that Italian media confirm that signing Boga may not be Juve’s last move this winter, as the Italian club is also working on signing a new striker, with high hopes of bringing Randle Kolo Moani back to the Allianz Stadium.
