Mostafa Mohamed ended his goal drought with Nantes, scoring in Sunday’s Ligue 1 match against Nice.
The Egyptian star came on as a substitute in the second half with his team trailing 3-0, scoring a header to reduce the deficit. Nantes ultimately lost 4-1.
Mostafa’s last goal before today’s match was on October 29th against Monaco. He also failed to find the net during Egypt’s participation in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
With this goal, Mostafa Mohamed has now scored only three goals this season for Nantes across all competitions, reflecting a clear decline in his form.
Mostafa Mohamed’s contract with Nantes runs until the summer of 2027, and this season is expected to be his last with the French club. He may then move to the English Premier League or return to Arab football, either in Egypt or Saudi Arabia.
