Bruno Fernandes’ Shocking Absence After Latest Injury

Bruno Fernandes left Manchester United’s match against Aston Villa with an injury that initially appeared minor, but which will ultimately force the Portuguese star to miss a relatively long period of action for the Red Devils.

According to the Telegraph, Fernandes suffered a soft tissue injury in his foot, a serious injury requiring special care to prevent further complications.

Initially, the Portuguese international will be sidelined for a full month due to this injury, meaning he will miss at least six matches for Ruben Amorim’s side.

Fernandes will miss the matches against Newcastle and Wolverhampton this year, as well as the games against Leeds, Burnley, and Brighton in January.

Hopes are high that Fernandes will recover in time for the Manchester derby against Manchester City on January 17th and be available for the subsequent clash against Arsenal on January 25th.

Amorim had spoken with regret after the loss to Aston Villa, regarding Fernandez’s injury, saying, “We will need solutions, we cannot use anything as an excuse, we have to prepare all the available players.”
