Rafinha doesn’t want to leave Barcelona, and it’s not on his agenda except under one specific condition, as revealed by the newspaper “Sport.”
The Brazilian star has become one of Barcelona’s most important and prominent players recently, and as usual, offers keep pouring in, particularly from Saudi Arabia, which wanted to sign him even before his move to the Blaugrana in 2023.
Rafinha’s contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2028, and he intends to fulfill his contract in full despite any tempting offers he might receive.
However, Rafinha might seriously consider leaving Barça, but only if he succeeds in achieving his main goal with the Catalan club: winning the Champions League title.
Before winning the Champions League trophy, Rafinha has no intention of leaving Camp Nou unless forced to do so by the Barcelona management, which is unlikely given the high regard in which he is held by Joan Laporta’s administration, as well as by his teammates and coach Hansi Flick.
Rafinha came close to reaching the Champions League final last season with Barcelona, only to be eliminated in extra time by Inter Milan in the semi-finals.
This season, it seems Barcelona will not qualify directly for the Round of 16 and will have to go through the play-offs, as the Catalan club currently sits in 15th place with 10 points, just two matches before the end of the season.
