Real Madrid’s management has settled on the identity of the new coach for the club should Xabi Alonso be dismissed.
Alonso has one last chance with Real Madrid in Sunday’s match against Alavés. If Los Blancos lose, he will be sacked immediately.
In general, Florentino Pérez’s administration has informed Alonso that he must win all three of the next matches, and any defeat in any of them will mean his dismissal.
According to Cadena SER, Álvaro Arbeloa will be Real Madrid’s new coach if Alonso is dismissed.
Real Madrid’s management is now aware that signing Jürgen Klopp is virtually impossible, and Zinedine Zidane prefers to coach France after the 2026 World Cup and already has an agreement with the French Football Federation to succeed Didier Deschamps.
Arbeloa has demonstrated his coaching abilities with Real Madrid’s youth teams, and this season he is also performing well with Castilla, leading to speculation that he is the future coach at the Santiago Bernabéu.
