Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario has predicted the finalists for the 2026 World Cup after the group stage draw on Friday.
According to Ronaldo, Euro 2020 champions Spain and Brazil will meet in the final, which is scheduled to be held at MetLife Stadium in Miami, USA.
The Phenomenon explained his prediction by saying, “Brazil has a great history in this event, but Spain has high quality, dynamism, and plays beautiful football.”
When asked who would win the final, if it happens, he said, “Currently, Spain plays better football than Brazil.”
He concluded, “The World Cup is a tournament played over a month, and anything can happen, but Spain captivates the world with its style of play and is the clear favorite for the title.”
The draw placed Brazil in a group with Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland, while Spain will face Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde, and Uruguay.
It is worth noting that Ronaldo won the World Cup twice with Brazil in the 1994 and 2002 editions, and lost the 1998 final against France.
