Premier League legend offered to Manchester United!

Manchester United continues to work on new attacking signings, and signing a striker is one of manager Ruben Amorim’s top priorities. However, due to the nature of the summer transfer window, the club is currently facing difficulties in finalizing the deal.

United’s efforts are currently focused on signing Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, but a deal with the London club appears extremely difficult due to their desire to earn more than €60 million from the deal.

According to The Athletic, the name of Jamie Vardy, the Premier League and Leicester City legend, has been presented to United’s management as a possible option to bolster the striker position.

Vardy, 38, left Leicester City at the end of last season and has not yet moved to any other club, despite previous reports that he could end up in the MLS next season.

Vardy’s name is now on the table for United’s management, who are initially welcoming the idea, but would prefer to first try to sign a young striker, whether Mbeumo or someone else. If that fails, a Premier League legend would be their first choice.

It’s worth noting that Vardy isn’t the only experienced name being considered by United. Callum Wilson, a Premier League expert, and Everton striker Calvert-Lewin have also been mentioned.

It’s worth noting that Manchester United signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers for €74 million, in addition to signing left-back Diego Leon for €4 million. The club is also working on selling several players, including Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Anthony, to fund other deals this summer.
