Marca revealed that Real Madrid is the club that has earned the most money from the 2025 Club World Cup so far, having reached the semi-finals.
FIFA has allocated $1 billion in bonuses to be distributed among the 32 participating teams. The prizes are divided based on progress in the competition and other factors.
With Real Madrid’s qualification to the semi-finals after defeating Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in the quarter-finals, the club received an additional €18 million.
According to the latest report, Los Blancos’ total financial rewards so far are €72.89 million, more than any other club, and a relatively large margin over second-placed Paris Saint-Germain, which earned only €66.43 million.
Real Madrid still has the opportunity to earn a larger sum. Beating PSG and reaching the final would mean the Spanish club receiving an additional €25 million, while winning the title would add an additional €34 million.
If Real Madrid wins the title, the total prize money will be €132.99 million, cementing its position as the richest club in the tournament in terms of prize money.
It’s worth noting that some clubs were eliminated early but received substantial bonuses, such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Chelsea (over €40 million each), Palmeiras and Inter (over €30 million), while Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia received a bonus of €29.39 million.
