According to Fabrizio Romano, both parties have finalized all procedures regarding the renewal, and the agreement is now signed and complete, pending an official announcement from the Royal Club.

The new contract runs until the summer of 2032, according to the Italian journalist’s update, replacing the previous expiry date of June 2029, alongside improved financial terms for the player to match his evolving role.

Güler has made 11 appearances this season, scoring three goals—most recently against RB Leipzig in a 4-1 victory—and provided three assists in the UEFA Champions League, reinforcing his presence as one of the key playmaker options in José Mourinho’s plans.

Real Madrid signed the player from Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2023 for 20 million euros plus variables, though injuries delayed his breakthrough before he finished his first season with six goals in ten La Liga appearances.

Since then, Güler has surpassed the 120-match milestone in a Real Madrid shirt, reaching 21 goals. He finished last season with six goals and 14 assists across 51 matches, having gradually transitioned from a talent awaiting an opportunity into an influential asset.

This step is part of a broader drive to secure player contracts; Thibaut Courtois is close to extending his stay until the summer of 2028, while reports have indicated agreements with Brahim Díaz until 2030 and Aurélien Tchouaméni until 2031, both awaiting official announcements.

The club is also working on renewing Jude Bellingham’s contract and improving his salary, following the extension of Vinícius Júnior’s deal this summer, as part of a policy that grants long-term contracts to young players while keeping agreements for veterans shorter.
