Zubimendi opens his Arsenal account with a stunning goal against Nottingham Forest

Martin Zubimendi scored a stunning goal for Arsenal against Nottingham Forest in the opening match of the fourth round of the English Premier League.

Bukayo Saka sent a corner into the penalty area, but the Nottingham Forest defender headed it back to the edge of the box, where Martin Zubimendi appeared and fired a stunning volley to give Arsenal the lead.

This was the 27-year-old’s first goal for Arsenal after joining the Gunners last summer for over €60 million from Real Sociedad.

Zubimendi participated in the first three Premier League matches against Manchester United, Leeds United, and Liverpool, but did not contribute any goals. Now, he opens his account at the Emirates Stadium in a fantastic way!

It is worth noting that this is Ange Postecoglou’s first match in charge of Nottingham Forest after taking over from the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.
