Zidane ends the controversy and answers: Will he coach Bayern Munich?

Zinedine Zidane, the former Real Madrid coach, has put an end to all the rumors spread about the possibility of him taking charge of coaching Bayern Munich, succeeding Thomas Tuchel next summer.

Although there are no negotiations between the two parties yet, Zidane’s name continues to emerge from time to time as a potential option for Bayern Munich’s management, which has so far failed to sign a new coach.

While attending a Formula One race, Zidane was asked about the possibility of coaching Bayern Munich, and he answered clearly, “No, it will not happen.”

He also added, “I will watch the match (Real Madrid and Bayern) and I will encourage Real Madrid and I hope that we will succeed in winning. It is a difficult match.”

Thus, the options available on Bayern Munich’s table are once again shrinking, and are practically limited to Brighton’s current coach, Roberto De Zerbe, and Benfica’s coach, Roger Schmidt.

Real Madrid will meet Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, after the first leg at the Allianz Arena ended 2-2.
