Zamalek will be without five key players for the first leg of their 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32 match against Dekedaha due to injuries.
According to Egyptian media, Palestinian striker Oday Al-Dabbagh will be absent for the Dekedaha match as he has not recovered from the adductor injury he sustained in the Al-Ahly match.
Meanwhile, substitute striker Nasser Mansi will be absent due to a hamstring injury, as will winger Adam Kayed, who is suffering from calf pain.
Abdallah El-Said and Nabil Emad Dunga will also be absent due to muscle strain, while Mahmoud Bentayg was withdrawn from Zamalek’s squad for this match by technical decision.
With the absence of Al-Dabbagh and Nasser Mansi, coach Yannick Ferreira will have no choice but to rely on Amr Nasser as the outright striker, even if the former Pharco striker has yet to score a goal for the White Knights.
Angolan Chico Banza is also expected to start on the left wing in Adam Kayed’s absence, with the brilliant Juan Alvina Bezerra on the right wing.
