The Zamalek administration has decided to freeze Mohamed El-Sayed’s participation in first-team training and matches until negotiations for his contract renewal are finalized.

The last meeting between El-Sayed and John Edward resulted in an agreement on his salary and a five-year renewal, but his father’s demand for a signing bonus of 5 million Egyptian pounds caused the negotiations to collapse.
The two parties are expected to meet again in the coming days to discuss the signing bonus issue once more, hoping to reach an agreement that will keep the player in the white jersey for the coming years.
