Munir Nasraoui, Lamine Yamal’s father, admitted that he is a Real Madrid fan, but that it doesn’t matter much to him at the moment and that he is solely focused on Barcelona.
Nasraoui said in statements reported by Catalan newspapers, “My Support for Real Madrid? I don’t care.”
He also added, clearly expressing his love for Barcelona, ”Barcelona is feeding me now!”
According to Nasraoui, he predicted that his son would be one of the best players in the world since he was a child.
The Moroccan continued, “From the moment he was born, I told him you would be the best player in the world, and he did.”
Nasraoui’s statements may be further confirmation that it is only a matter of time before Barcelona announces Yamal’s long-term contract renewal with a significant salary increase.
This is expected to happen next July, when the player turns 18 and can sign his first professional contract.
