Barcelona star Lamine Yamal hasn’t forgotten that Jude Bellingham celebrated Inter’s victory over the Catalan club in the Champions League, and decided to gloat over the Real Madrid star after the Merengues’ crushing 4-3 El Clásico defeat.
Bellingham had liked a photo of Inter star Alessandro Bastoni celebrating the elimination of Lamine Yamal’s teammates after the Barcelona match, which apparently angered the 17-year-old.
Yamaal scored and assisted another in Barça’s fourth victory over Real Madrid in all competitions this season, taking advantage of the opportunity to virtually seal the Spanish league title to send Bellingham a message of revenge and nothing else.
The Spanish international posted a photo of himself celebrating his goal against Thibaut Courtois, writing, “Also like here,” in a clear reference to Bellingham’s actions after last week’s match against Inter.
Overall, Yamal has become one of the most controversial players between Spain’s two biggest clubs. He has been accused more than once of disrespecting Real Madrid, and his response has been that as long as he always wins with Barcelona, there’s no problem with what he says.
It’s worth noting that Yamal was also seen celebrating with several Barcelona players after El Clásico, holding up the number 4 (Barcelona’s number of goals against Real Madrid in the last match).
