Yamal Continues to Provoke Real Madrid: I Left Fear Behind

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal continued to provoke Real Madrid hours before the start of El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu in the tenth round of the Spanish League.

The 18-year-old had previously angered Real Madrid after stating that the club “steals and then complains.”

Yamal has once again angered Real Madrid, this time with statements that clearly declare his defiance and that he doesn’t care much about what is said against him.

Yamal posted a video on his account of himself playing football and celebrating with his friends, accompanied by the following message: “The player from the neighborhood doesn’t compete for fame; he competes for the future.”

He also added, “He doesn’t play for the spotlight; he plays so he never has to return. The real pressure isn’t on the pitch, but in the eyes of those who never stopped believing in me. And when he scores, he doesn’t celebrate for himself; he celebrates because that goal can change everything: for him, his family, and his neighborhood.”

He concluded, “I left fear behind a long time ago—right there on the field in Mataró (the neighborhood where he lived).”

In a second Instagram post, he also posted a video of himself celebrating his goal in last season’s 4-0 win at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Real Madrid fans booing him in the background.
