For the seventh consecutive match in the Saudi League, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to score for Al-Nassr, this time against Al-Ettifaq in a rather unusual fashion.
Al-Ettifaq took the lead through Georginio Wijnaldum in the first half, but João Félix equalized in the second minute of the second half.
In the 67th minute, the ball reached the Portuguese striker inside the penalty area, and he fired a powerful shot towards the goal. However, the ball struck Cristiano Ronaldo’s back, changing its trajectory and finding the back of the net.
The goal was officially credited to Ronaldo, who seems to be adding another body part to his list of goalscorers, alongside his feet and head!
Ronaldo has now scored 13 goals in the Saudi League, putting him level with João Félix at the top of the scorers’ list after 11 rounds of the competition.
