Al Hilal escaped the trap of its first defeat this season on the local level, after drawing 1-1 with Al Nassr in the 32nd round of the Saudi League competitions.
Al-Nasr took the lead in the 25th second through Otavio, taking advantage of Cristiano Ronaldo’s preparation of the ball, after which he fired an unblockable shot past Yassine Bounou.
This goal is classified as one of the fastest goals in the history of the Riyadh derby, and its value would have doubled if it had led to a victory for the owners of Al Awal Park Stadium.

Al Hilal maintained its unbeaten record domestically, having won 29 league matches, 4 King’s Cups, and 2 Super Cups, in addition to drawing only three times in the league.

In general, Al Hilal’s unbeaten streak in the AFC Champions League was halted, when it lost for the first time to Al Ain in the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-finals 4-2 in the Emirates.
Even if Al-Nasr had won, that would not have changed anything about the fact that Al-Hilal won the Saudi League title, after clinching it numerically last week by defeating Al-Hazm 4-1.
Al-Hilal is in the lead with 90 points, while Al-Nasr is in second place with 78 points, just two rounds before the end of the Saudi League.
It remains to be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score for Al Hilal for the third time in the league, making “The Blue Wave” one of 3 clubs that the Don was unable to score in Saudi Arabia.
The Riyadh derby is scheduled to be repeated again two weeks after the other, when Al Hilal and Al Nassr meet in the Saudi King’s Cup final at the Radiant Jewel Stadium.
