Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has settled the question of leaving the Catalan club in the upcoming winter transfer window, following reports of strong interest from AC Milan.
For months, it has been rumored that the Italian club wants to sign Lewandowski when his contract expires in the summer of 2026, especially after the success of Luka Modric at the age of 40 at the San Siro.
In recent hours, Italian media outlets have reported that Milan’s management may not wait until the summer and will attempt to sign Lewandowski next winter, particularly after Massimiliano Allegri’s demands for a reliable new striker.
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Lewandowski has no intention of leaving Barcelona in January 2026, regardless of any offers he receives.
The 36-year-old is focused on finishing the current season with Barcelona in the best possible way, after which he will begin to consider his future.
According to Romano, the most likely scenario remains that Lewandowski will leave Barcelona in the summer of 2026, given his age and the noticeable decline in his performance this season.
It’s worth noting that Lewandowski is on the radar of several Saudi clubs, and it was reported that Al-Hilal made him a substantial offer last summer. However, the Polish striker insisted on staying with Barcelona until the end of his contract.
