Will Juventus fire its coach Allegri after the decline in results?

There have been many rumors recently about the possibility that Juventus management might dismiss coach Massimiliano Allegri due to poor results in the Italian League.

In the last round, Juventus tied 0-0 with Genoa, achieving 7 points from the last 8 matches it played in Serie A, including only one win.

But according to the newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, the news of Allegri’s dismissal from coaching Juventus is baseless, and the Bianconeri management is still confident that the coach is the ideal choice to lead the team until at least the end of the season.

Allegri’s contract with Juventus is still extended until the summer of 2025, and his dismissal, if it happened now, would cost the Italian club huge millions.

In general, the Juve management decided to keep Allegri until the end of the season, given its confidence that he is able to guarantee a qualifying seat for the Champions League next season for the Old Lady’s team.

After the end of the season, the Italian administration will conduct an evaluation of the season and make its decision either to keep Allegri or to bring in a new coach, and most likely it may be inclined to dismiss him.

Allegri took over as coach of Juventus for a second period in 2021, but he failed to achieve the same successes in his first term, as he did not win any championship or improve his performance in any way.

Juventus occupies third place in the Italian League standings with 54 points, and still has a chance to win the Italian Cup after reaching the semi-finals and facing Lazio.
