Will Juan Bezerra leave Zamalek for the Qatari league?

Rumors have circulated in the past few hours about a lucrative Qatari offer to sign Zamalek star Juan Bezerra during the January 2026 transfer window.

Bezerra has become one of Zamalek’s key players this season after joining the White Knights in the final hours of last summer’s transfer window for $1.8 million from Ukrainian club Oleksandriya.

Zamalek is facing a severe financial crisis that prevents them from paying the remaining financial dues owed to the player, as well as fulfilling the transfer fee with the Ukrainian club. This threatens to create a new crisis at FIFA offices, potentially leading to a hefty fine for the White Knights.

In this context, it has been suggested that the Qatari offer for Bezerra could resolve his financial difficulties and also help the club settle its outstanding payments and FIFA-related cases, which exceed $6 million.

However, a source within Zamalek denied the existence of any Qatari offer for Bezerra, confirming that the Egyptian club has not received any communication from any club regarding the Brazilian player.

The source also clearly emphasized that Zamalek has no intention whatsoever of letting go of Bezerra, regardless of the financial offers received, whether in January or next summer.

As for the player, he feels happy at Zamalek and does not want to leave the club in January. He hopes to help the team overcome its current difficult period and compete for all domestic and continental titles.
