Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has won the 2024-25 Premier League Player of the Year award.
The Egyptian international has made 46 Premier League goal contributions this season, more than any other player.
Salah scored 28 goals and made 18 assists, and was a key factor in the Reds’ second Premier League title, just as he promised at the start of the season.

The 32-year-old also secured the Premier League Golden Boot thanks to his impressive goalscoring record and is currently competing for the European Golden Boot.
It’s worth noting that Manchester City players have won the award for the past five seasons, with Salah finally breaking the monopoly held by Pep Guardiola’s squad for the best player in the world’s most prestigious league.
A Historic Achievement for Mohamed Salah
This award adds to a series of historic achievements achieved by Salah this season.
This is the second time Salah has won the award for the best player in Premier League history, having previously won it in his first season in 2017-2018.
Salah thus joins a list of Premier League legends who have won this award more than once, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidić, Kevin De Bruyne, and Thierry Henry.
Salah is Liverpool’s third-highest scorer in history with 244 goals and the fifth-highest Premier League scorer of all time with 185 goals.
