France Football magazine has revealed the date for announcing the 2025 Ballon d’Or nominees.
Previously, the renowned magazine announced that September 21st would witness the coronation of the world’s best player at a grand ceremony in the French capital, Paris.
Now, the magazine has announced that the 2025 Ballon d’Or nominees will be revealed on August 7th.
The initial list, as usual, is expected to include around 30 players, and will gradually be reduced to just three before the awards ceremony.
The competition is currently limited to Barcelona duo Lamine Yamal and Rafinha, and Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé.
In recent days, there have been increasing calls for Vitinha to be crowned, similar to what happened in 2024 when Rodri won.
It should be noted that the situation will remain the same in 2024, with the winner’s identity not being revealed until the coronation ceremony.
