What is the truth about Al-Nassr’s negotiations with Ferran Torres?

There has been much rumour in recent days about Al-Nassr’s strong interest in signing Barcelona star Ferran Torres.

It was also reported that the Catalan club’s management would welcome the sale of the Spanish international if a substantial financial offer were received, especially since Al-Nassr was willing to pay €50 million to complete the deal.

Barcelona is looking to sell some of its players to be able to sign new players, so selling Torres at this price seemed ideal given the economic situation at Camp Nou.

However, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the rumors about Al-Nassr’s interest in signing Torres are completely false.

Romano also confirmed that Torres’ name has not been mentioned within Al-Nassr’s ranks, and that the player himself does not intend to leave Barcelona regardless of the available offers. Furthermore, Joan Laporta’s management does not favor his departure, as he is the only striker on the list after Robert Lewandowski.

It’s true that Al-Nassr is planning an attacking deal, but this has nothing to do with Ferran Torres, who is completely out of the picture. The Saudi club is likely close to signing Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman.

It’s worth noting that Al-Nassr signed Inigo Martinez after terminating his contract with Barcelona, and also signed Joao Felix from Chelsea, as part of the massive revolution led by coach Jorge Jesus at Parc des Princes.
