Van Dijk’s header in the killer time leads Liverpool to win the Carabao Cup at the expense of Chelsea (video)

Liverpool succeeded in achieving the Carabao Cup title following a 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the final match held at Wembley Stadium.

Achieving the third most important title in England’s tournament is of special value to Liverpool this season. It is a gift to coach Jurgen Klopp, who announced his departure from Anfield at the end of this season.

The coronation in 2024 is the second for Klopp in the Carabao Cup after the 2022 edition. Overall, it is the eighth in the German’s career with Liverpool, which extends from 2016.
