Kylian Mbappe commented on his move to Real Madrid in a statement he published on his social media accounts and entitled “A dream come true.”
Real Madrid announced a contract with Mbappe for five years on Monday, after the end of the player’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the past season.
“It is a dream come true,” Mbappe wrote after the announcement. “I am very happy and proud to join the club of my dreams, Real Madrid.”
He also added, “No one can understand how passionate I am now. I can’t wait to see you, Real Madrid fans, thank you for the tremendous support.”
With the statement, Mbappe published pictures of himself as a child in a Real Madrid shirt and with Cristiano Ronaldo to confirm that his dream was and still is to play for the Royal Club.
At the same time, Mbappe changed the description on his Instagram and Twitter accounts to read “Real Madrid and France player” and also followed Real Madrid’s account for the first time.
