Unstoppable: Haaland scores twice to lead City to victory over Everton

Erling Haaland stole the show on Premier League Saturday, scoring twice to lead Manchester City to a 2-0 victory over Everton in the eighth round of the Premier League.

Haaland scored the first goal in the 19th minute with a brilliant header, and then added the second in the 62nd minute.

The Norwegian international now has 11 goals in the first eight Premier League rounds this season, placing him four goals clear at the top of the scoring charts, ahead of nearest rival Antonio Semenyo (7 goals).

For the third time in his career, Haaland has scored more than 10 goals in the first eight Premier League rounds. Overall, no other player has scored more goals in the first eight rounds of a season than the 25-year-old.

Haaland has scored 17 goals for City this season, along with six more for the Norwegian national team, for a total of 23 goals and three assists in just 13 matches in all competitions, revealing just how far the “Norwegian ogre” has come.

Haaland has scored in every match he has played this season for club and country, with the exception of the Premier League match against Tottenham.

It’s worth noting that Haaland’s brace propelled Manchester City to the top of the Premier League, with 16 points, pending the remaining matches of the round, specifically the matches between Arsenal and Fulham and Liverpool and Manchester United, which will impact Pep Guardiola’s squad’s standings.
