Two Zamalek stars confirmed to miss Al Ahly Bank match

Zamalek will definitely be without two key players for their match against Al Ahly Bank due to injury.

Egyptian media outlets have reported that Ahmed Sherif is still suffering from a hamstring injury sustained in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32 match against Dekedaha.

The second confirmed absence is Adam Kayed, who missed both matches against Dekedaha due to a calf injury and is currently undergoing intensive rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Shehata is unlikely to be available for the match, and Zamalek’s medical staff prefers to proceed cautiously and not rush his return to avoid aggravating his injury.

Abdullah El Said and Nabil Emad Donga are confirmed to be fit and available for selection, with the final decision resting with coach Yannick Ferrera.

Zamalek will face Al Ahly Bank on Thursday at 8:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium.

Zamalek is in fifth place in the Egyptian league standings with 18 points, compared to 14 points for Al Ahly Bank in 13th place.
