English media reports indicate that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a massive offer to sign Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz during the current winter transfer window.
Spur’s star player, Mohamed Kudus, suffered a knee ligament injury that will keep him sidelined for an extended period, forcing the club to seek an immediate replacement.
According to TeamTalk, Tomas Frank sees Diaz as the ideal replacement for Kudus, especially after the Moroccan’s impressive performances with the Atlas Lions at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Tottenham will reportedly offer £52 million for Diaz, approximately €60 million, a substantial sum that could tempt Real Madrid to sell the 25-year-old this winter, despite him already having an agreement with the Spanish club to extend his contract.
Despite his significant role last season, Diaz’s importance has diminished considerably this season, alongside Xabi Alonso. He has only appeared as a substitute in most matches, accumulating less than 450 minutes of playing time.
It’s worth noting that Diaz is currently the top scorer in the Africa Cup of Nations, having scored 5 goals in 5 matches for Morocco in the tournament so far.
