Tottenham makes significant offer for former Real Madrid star

Tottenham is still recovering from the shock of the failed Eberechi Eze deal, and now they have set their sights on signing former Real Madrid player Nico Paz and current Italian player Como.

According to renowned journalist Di Marzio, Tottenham has contacted Como and negotiations are currently underway between the two parties. The London club hopes to sign the player before the end of the current summer transfer window.

Indeed, Tottenham has made an official offer of €50 million to Como for Paz, but the Italian club is demanding at least €70 million, which has stalled negotiations between the two parties.

For his part, the player is still hesitant about accepting a move to Tottenham. He is inclined to stay with Cuomo for another year and then explore whether Real Madrid will activate the buy-back clause next year or move to another club.

Xabi Alonso rejected Paz’s return to Real Madrid this summer due to the presence of Endrick and Gonzalo Garcia. However, there is still a chance he could be brought back next summer for a fee not exceeding €20 million.

It’s worth noting that the 21-year-old Paz moved to Como in the summer of 2024 for €6 million, and has made 36 appearances there, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.
