FC Barcelona has announced that young midfielder Pablo Torre has suffered a fracture in his left hand during training on Tuesday.
According to the club’s statement, Torre sustained a fracture in the fifth metacarpal of his left hand and will undergo surgery in the coming days. The statement did not specify the expected duration of the 21-year-old’s absence from the pitch, but it is estimated that he will be out for at least a month due to the hand surgery.
Torre is the third Barcelona player to be injured in recent days, following Pedri’s injury with Spain in Euro 2024 and Ronald Araujo’s confirmed four-month absence after picking up an injury with Uruguay in Euro 2024.
Torre made 29 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions last season, providing two assists and scoring one goal in the Copa del Rey.
