Cristiano Ronaldo has lost his place in the top scorers’ list for the 2026 Saudi League to Al-Qadisiyah’s Julian Quiñones.
Quinñones scored Al-Qadisiyah’s goal on Saturday evening in a 1-1 draw with Al-Fateh, concluding the 20th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Thus, the Colombian striker raised his league goals this season to 18, reaching second place and displacing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo has scored 17 goals for Al-Nassr, while Al-Ahli’s Ivan Toni remains the league’s top scorer with 19 goals.
Undoubtedly, Ronaldo’s absence from Al-Nassr’s last two matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad contributed to this decline, depriving the 40-year-old of several clear scoring opportunities.
It remains unclear when Ronaldo will return to play for Al-Nassr, given his strong dissatisfaction with the Saudi Investment Fund officials, although significant efforts are underway to persuade him to return for the match against Al-Fateh next Saturday.
It is worth noting that Ronaldo won the Saudi League top scorer award in the last two editions, scoring 25 goals last season and 35 goals the season before that.
