The President of France indirectly confirms Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid

French President Emmanuel Macron indirectly confirmed Kylian Mbappe’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season and his move to Real Madrid.

Macron hopes that Mbappe will participate with the French national team in the Olympics hosted by Paris next summer, while Real Madrid rejects the idea in form and substance.

During media statements, Macron said what suggested that he was pressuring Real Madrid to reverse its decision and allow Mbappe to represent his country in this historic battlefield.

The French president said, “I hope that Mbappe will play in the Olympics. In any case, I have put as much pressure as possible on his so-called future team.”

Macron’s use of the word “future team” can be interpreted as saying that he knows very well that Mbappe has decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain, but he prefers not to use the name Real Madrid until the matter becomes official.

It is noteworthy that the newspaper “Le Parisien” revealed Mbappe’s intention to announce his departure from Paris Saint-Germain next Sunday at the Parc des Princes stadium.
