The Journey Continues… Omar Al Somah Moves to a New Saudi Club

Omar Al Somah has completed his move to a new club in the Saudi League, continuing his career in the competition where he is the all-time leading scorer.

He played the second half of last season with Al-Orobah, but failed to save the team from relegation and left at the end of his contract last May.

He then moved to Wydad Casablanca, where he played two matches in the 2025 Club World Cup. He then refused to renew his contract or move to any other Arab club, preferring to return to the Saudi League.

Ultimately, Al Somah will represent Al-Hazem, who recently returned to the Roshen League, and has signed a one-year contract.

Over the course of his career, the Syrian international has scored 154 goals in the Saudi League, most of which came with Al-Ahli (from 2015 to 2022). He will compete with Al-Shabab star Abderrazak Hamdallah for the all-time leading scorer title for another season.
